Verdant was founded by economists and policy experts who have worked together for over a decade at the center of U.S. drug pricing reform.

At Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Drug Pricing Lab, the team built foundational research on Medicare Part B and Part D reform, bringing together knowledge from careers in industry, financial markets, academia, and government. Founder Anna Kaltenboeck went on to lead Senate Finance Committee work on the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program. Now, Verdant brings that rigor to evaluate how reimbursement systems shape markets, innovation, and patient access.
